Liz Donohoe Earns Top Freshman Honor Again

IRVING, Texas - Oklahoma State's Liz Donohoe was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week as selected by a media voting panel for games from Feb. 20-26 it was announced today by the league office. The selection marked the fifth time this season she has received the honor.

Donohoe averaged 19.5 points and 9.5 rebounds as the Cowgirls split games last week with a loss at Kansas State and a win over Iowa State. She recorded her third double-double of the season in the K-State outing with a team-high 12 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

The Edmond, Okla., native then helped OSU snap a four-game losing streak by matching her career high with 27 points against Iowa State. She also grabbed seven rebounds, had three assists and two steals against the Cyclones.

Donohoe leads all Big 12 freshmen in scoring at 12.8 points per game and rebounding with her 6.7 boards per contest.

Donohoe also received the honor twice in December, and twice in January.
