• Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will get its regular season underway on Friday at 5:30 p.m. when it hosts Cal Poly in Stillwater.
• The game will be the front end of a doubleheader with the OSU men's team, which will tip at 8.
• The Cowgirls are coming off a 118-43 exhibition victory over Central Oklahoma on Wednesday.
• The contest could mark the first regular-season action for three new Cowgirls as Kamri Anderson, Brittney Martin and Morgan Toben will all suit up.
• Freshman Brittany Atkins will not play due to injury.
• The contest will be the 100th career game for senior Toni Young
• Sophomore Liz Donohoe will begin the season with a string of five double-doubles in a row dating back to last season's WNIT.

• Friday's contest between OSU and Cal Poly will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

• Cal Poly is coming off a 17-15 campaign a year ago. The Mustangs also posted a 12-4 mark in Big West play to win the conference title.
• Cal Poly was picked to finish fourth this year in the preseason Big West poll.
• The Mustangs have played in the WNIT the past two seasons.
• Cal Poly's win total a year ago was its fourth-highest in school history since moving to Division I for the 1994-95 season.

• The Cowgirls scored 118 points against the Bronchos for their highest exhibition point total since scoring 126 against the Oklahoma Flyers in 2008.
• All 10 Cowgirls that played scored in the contest and seven players reached double figures.
• Freshman Brittney Martin made seven of her nine shots from the floor and scored 16 points.
• Senior Toni Young finished with a game-high 26 points as well as a game-best 11 rebounds.
