Broadcast Information for Saturday's Basketball Game at Virginia Tech
Because Saturday's game is a road contest, the Atlantic Coast Conference has rights to the television broadcast through its contract with ESPN. Due to the large number of football and basketball games on Saturday, there wasn't a timeslot available to televise the game, hence the internet broadcast. ESPN3 is available through many internet service providers (i.e. Charter, Comcast, Cox, Suddenlink, Time Warner), but not all. A complete list of affiliates can be found here.
As far as the radio broadcast is concerned, due to the scheduling conflict with the Cowboy football game, which will start at 11 am, the men's basketball game will not be available through the normal network stations. Learfield, which owns the rights to both Cowboy football and basketball, has worked to provide the basketball game on alternate stations, which are as follows: KSPI 780 AM in Stillwater, KGHM 1340 AM in Oklahoma City, KXLS 95.7 FM in Enid, and KPGM 1500 AM in Bartlesville. Some fans in Tulsa may be able to pick up the basketball game via the Bartlesville or Stillwater stations, but another alternative is OKState.com, which will provide the broadcast for free this Saturday only.
