Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State entered the national college basketball polls this week, coming in at 20th in the Associated Press poll and No. 22 in the USA Today Coaches poll, released Monday afternoon. The Cowboys are coming off a tournament title at the Puerto Rico Tip-Off, where they defeated sixth-ranked N.C. State 76-56 in the championship game.
This marks the first time that OSU has been ranked in either poll since the week of Feb. 12, 2007. That week, the Cowboys were ranked No. 18 in the AP poll and 20th in the Coaches poll. The debut at No. 20 in the Associated Press poll is also tied for the fourth-largest jump in the polls for the Cowboys since the poll began in 1948.
Oklahoma State, now 4-0 on the season, will host Portland State on Sunday, Nov. 25, at 1 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
