Track Wraps Up Razorback Invitational

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oklahoma State track and field program completed the two-day Razorback Invitational, hosted by the University of Arkansas, on Saturday.
The men and women combined to post seven top-five finishes on the second day of competition, highlighted by Tom Farrell's third place performance in the invitational 3,000 meters. His time of 7:52.38 is the third-fastest time in OSU history.
OSU picked up a pair of runner-up performances by Neal Smith and Nick Miller. Smith ran an 8:12.53 in the 3,000 meters, and Miller recorded a 17.75m effort in the weight throw.
Raul Botezan placed third in the invitational one-mile run, posting a time of 4:01.05, while Shane Moskowitz placed fifth in the mile run with a time of 4:09.19.
Kate Kujawa placed fourth in the one mile run after completing the race in 4:53.95. In the 800 meter run, Adela Hofmannova ran a 2:13.96 to place fifth.
The teams will return to action February 10 and 11 when they compete at the Husky Invitational in Seattle and the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville.
