Cowgirls Head to Texas for Pair of Duals

The Oklahoma State women's tennis team will make a Lone Star State road trip this weekend when it travels to take on Texas Friday and Texas A&M Saturday.

OSU (6-11, 2-4 Big 12) faces off against the 25th-ranked Longhorns (10-6, 5-2 Big 12) at 1:30 p.m. on Friday in Austin.

The Cowgirls are coming off of a 4-2 loss at Missouri this past weekend. Texas has lost its past two matches, 4-3 at Texas Tech and 5-2 at Baylor. The Longhorns feature the No. 21 singles player in Aeriel Ellis and the 48th-ranked duo of Amanda Craddock and Cierra Gaytan-Leach in doubles play.

OSU then travels to College Station to play the No. 33 Aggies (10-5, 3-2 Big 12) at 5 p.m. at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. A&M is 7-0 at home this season.

The Aggies split two games last weekend, losing 6-1 to Notre Dame in South Bend on April 3, but returned the next day and defeated DePaul 4-0. A&M boasts No. 34 singles player Nazari Urbina.
