STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's basketball team has announced the signing of Oklahoma high school standout Jordan Schultz to a National Letter of Intent.
"Jordan had a tremendous high school career and is one of the best shooters in the state. She was under constant pressure to deliver and she always came through," OSU head coach Kurt Budke said. "I love how competitive she is and how much she wanted to be at Oklahoma State."
Schultz averaged 23.6 points per game during her final season at Claremore High School en route to earning all-state honors from the Oklahoma Coaches Association, The Oklahoman and the Tulsa World. Additionally, she was named the Tulsa World Girls Basketball All-Metro Player of the Year as well as the Metro Lakes Conference Player of the Year.
The 5-10 guard averaged 23.1 points per game over the past two years at CHS. During her three seasons at Claremore she tallied 1,580 points to finish her career as the Zebras' all-time leading scorer.
During her junior campaign, Schultz logged a 40-point game to break the school's single-game mark before topping it this past season with a 42-point showing.
