Cowgirls Set For WNIT Action
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (16-14 overall) will begin play in the WNIT on Wednesday when it hosts Pepperdine (18-11) at 7 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. OSU's WNIT selection marks the first time in school history the Cowgirls have appeared in the postseason five consecutive seasons. During their current string, the Cowgirls have played in the NCAA Tournament in 2007, 2008 and 2010 as well as the WNIT in 2009.
OSU—Pepperdine ... The Series
OSU and Pepperdine have met on two previous occasions with each team winning on the opposing floor. The Cowgirls took the first meeting in 1987, 81-76, at the Pepperdine Tournament in Malibu, Calif. The Waves returned the favor with a 67-64 win in Stillwater in 2002.

Pepperdine saw a its three-game winning streak come to an end in the first round of the West Coast Conference Tournament with a 77-68 loss to San Diego. The Waves are 7-7 this season in road games and lost their last three away from home during the regular season. Jazmine Jackson checks in as the squad's leading scorer at 14.1 points per game and Skye Barnett is pulling a team-best 6.3 rebounds per game. Lauren Bell leads the team with her 3.9 assists per game.

Vicky McIntyre is six blocks away from tying the OSU single-season mark.
