Cowgirls Set For Round Two of Bedlam
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (15-12 overall, 3-11 Big 12) will look to put an end to its four-game losing streak on Wednesday night when it travels to Norman, Okla., to take on in-state rival Oklahoma (19-9, 9-5) at 7 p.m. in the latest installment of The Bedlam Series. The Cowgirls are coming off a 57-48 loss at Texas Tech over the weekend. Wednesday's contest will be OSU's fourth road game in its last five outings.
OSU—Oklahoma... The Series
After taking the first meeting in Stillwater on Jan. 29, the Sooners have won seven consecutive in the series against the Cowgirls . OU leads the overall series by a 52-35 count and holds a 27-11 advantage in Norman. OSU's last road victory in the series came in 1998, a 76-54 victory.
Scouting Oklahoma
With its loss to Baylor over the weekend, Oklahoma has lost consecutive games for the first time this season. Overall, OU is 14-2 this year at home and the Sooners are 5-2 in league games at home. OU is first in the league in free-throw percentage at 77 percent and also lead the league with its 7.4 made 3-pointers per contest. Individually, Danielle Robinson ranks fourth in the league at 19.0 points per game, while Aaryn Ellenberg is ninth at 16.7 points per contest. Robinson ranks fifth in the league in assists at 4.8 per game and steals at 2.5 per contest.
