Cowgirls Continue Homestand against Tech
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (13-8, 1-7) will look to end a four-game losing streak on Wednesday when the Cowgirls play host to Texas Tech (16-6, 3-5) at 7 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. OSU is coming off a loss against its third consecutive ranked opponent in No. 1 Baylor on Sunday. The Lady Raiders come to town looking to rebound from a loss to Texas A&M on Saturday.
OSU—Texas Tech... The Series
Tech has won 27 of the 44 meetings in the overall series. The teams have split the regular-season series each of the past two years with each squad winning on the other team's home floor. Two years ago, the Cowgirls also defeated the Lady Raiders at the Big 12 Championship in Oklahoma City. Tech has an 11-9 advantage all time in Stillwater.
Scouting Texas Tech
Texas Tech will be looking to snap a losing streak of its own after dropping its fifth game in a row on Saturday against Texas A&M. Three of those losses have come against teams currently in the Top 25. The Lady Raiders are 3-4 this season in road games, including a 1-3 mark in Big 12 road games. Kierra Mallard ranks just below OSU's Toni Young in the league in scoring, ranking 18th at 12.6 points per game. Mallard also ranks fifth in the league with her 1.9 blocks per game. Monique Smalls is fourth in the Big 12 with her 2.4 steals per game.

Six of OSU's eight losses this year have come against ranked opponents ... Tiffany Bias enters the week with 90 assists and is looking to become just the third freshman in the last 30 years at Oklahoma State to record 100 assists in a season ... Andrea Riley had 149 assists in 2006-07 and Liz Brown dished out 119 assists as a rookie in 1987-88 ... Admission is free for Wednesday's contest.
