Cowgirls Head To Lubbock To Face Tech
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (15-11 overall, 3-10 Big 12) will look to halt a three-game losing streak on Saturday at 5 p.m. when they travel to Lubbock, Texas to take on Texas Tech (19-8, 6-7). OSU dropped a 73-66 midweek contest against Kansas in Stillwater, while the Lady Raiders come into the tilt looking to bounce back from an 84-60 loss at Texas A&M.

OSU claimed the first meeting between the two this season, winning 62-52 in Stillwater on Feb. 9 to trim Tech's overall advantage in the series to 27-18. The Lady Raiders have won 12 of the 18 meetings all time in Lubbock, but the Cowgirls have won their last three trips to United Spirit Arena, including last year's 80-70 win on Feb. 28.
Scouting Texas Tech
The Lady Raiders saw their three-game winning streak come to an end on Tuesday in College Station, Texas with an 84-60 loss to Texas A&M. Tech has won 13 of its 15 home games this year, including a 56-45 win over then-No. 1 Baylor in its last outing. The Lady Raiders currently rank second in the league with their 10.5 steals per game. Kierra Mallard is 20th in the league in scoring at 12.7 points per game and is 10th with her 7.2 rebounds per game. Monique Smalls is second among Big 12 players with her 2.5 steals per outing.

Toni Young has double-doubles in four of her last five games and her 13 on the year rank first in the Big 12 ...freshman Vicky McIntyre is one blocked shot away from sole possession of third place on the school's single-season list ... she is currently tied for third with Christian Hood and Sheila Hughes .... the Cowgirls are looking to snap a seven-game Big 12 road losing streak that dates back to their win in Lubbock last year.
