Cowgirls Close Homestand With Nebraska
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (14-8, 2-7) will close out its three-game homestand on Saturday against Nebraska (12-11, 2-7) at 2 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls snapped a four-game losing streak on Wednesday, with a 62-52 win over Texas Tech. The Huskers come to town looking to halt a three-game slide after falling to Baylor on Wednesday in Lincoln. Saturday's contest will be televised by the Cowboy Sports Network.
OSU--Nebraska... The Series
The Huskers lead the all-time series 32-25 and have won the last two against OSU. Last year, the Huskers won, 88-67, in a matchup of Top 10 teams. Nebraska took the last contest in Stillwater on March 7, 2009, coming away with an 82-74 win. Overall, OSU leads by a 16-8 count in Stillwater.
Scouting Nebraska
Nebraska is in the midst of a three-game losing streak and has lost five of its last six after Wednesday's 69-45 loss to Baylor. The Huskers are 2-5 this year in road games and are seeking their first Big 12 road win (0-4) of the year. Jordan Hooper is the squad's leading scorer at 15.2 points per game, while Catheryn Redmon is the Huskers' top rebounder at 7.7 rebounds per game. Hooper's scoring average ranks 11th among league players, while Redmon is No. 9 rebounding-wise. Lindsey Moore ranks third in the league with her 5.5 assists a game.

Tiffany Bias enters the weekend with 93 assists and is looking to become just the third freshman in the last 30 years at Oklahoma State to record 100 assists in a season ... Andrea Riley had 149 assists in 2006-07 and Liz Brown dished out 119 assists as a rookie in 1987-88 ... Saturday will represent OSU's annual participation in the WBCA's Pink Zone initiative, which was created to raise breast cancer awareness.
