Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowboy Basketball team will travel to Springfield, Mo., for a Wednesday night game against the Missouri State Bear. Tipoff for the game is set for 8:05 pm inside the John Q. Hammons Arena and the game will be televised by ESPNU.
The Cowboys are 5-2 this season with all five wins at home. OSU's two losses were in the semifinals and finals of the NIT Season Tip-Off in New York. The Bears are 4-2 this season, having lost their last two games on the road at ORU and New Mexico.
Oklahoma State is 6-0 all-time against Missouri State, the last victory coming last season in Stillwater by an 84-70 score. This will mark OSU's second trip to Springfield, having defeated the Bears 68-63 in 1994 in the Hammons Student Center.
The Cowboys are led by sophomore guard Markel Brown who is averaging 12 points and nearly seven rebounds per game. He has also dished out a team-high 16 assists and has a team-leading 15 steals.
