Oklahoma City, Okla. -- Oklahoma State's Cowboy Basketball team visited the OU Children's Hospital Friday afternoon, hanging out with kids following practice at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.
The Cowboys spent two hours visiting children and their families in the oncology department, signing autographs, giving out gifts and posing for pictures.
Coach Travis Ford, who is very active in the Coaches vs. Cancer campaign, gave the players a break following practice at the Chesapeake Energy Arena where the Cowboys are preparing to take on New Mexico in the RAMADA All-College Classic Saturday night.
Despite several of the kids being Oklahoma Sooner fans, they were definitely excited to see the Cowboys and several were looking forward to watching both basketball games tonight.
