Stillwater, Okla. — Oklahoma State's Cowboy Basketball team will host Turnpike Rival Tulsa on Wednesday, Nov. 30, inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. Tipoff is set for 7:05 pm.
OSU is 3-2 this season and coming off a 59-57 loss to Virginia Tech in the consolation finals of the Dick's Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off. The Golden Hurricane are 4-3 this season and coming off a 69-64 overtime loss at Missouri State on Saturday evening.
Oklahoma State leads the all-time series with TU 70-37, including a 39-14 mark in Stillwater. The Cowboys won the last meeting, a 71-54 victory over the Golden Hurricane last season in the BOK Center in Tulsa.
This is the final game of a current four-game series scheduled between OSU and TU. After a 12-year hiatus, the pair played a game in Stillwater on Nov. 20, 2008, which the Pokes won, 91-73. The Golden Hurricane won the matchup a year later, an 86-65 victory in the Reynolds Center.
The OSU-Tulsa series dates back to 1908, and in that 103 years, the 107 games ranks as the eighth-most played versus a single opponent in Oklahoma State history. The only teams that OSU has played more often are the seven former members of the old Big Eight Conference.
