OSU Tennis Heads to Lakewood Ranch

STILLWATER, Okla – Oklahoma State's men's and women's tennis teams open play at the 2011 Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic today at the Athletic Center of Lakewood Ranch in Sarasota, Fla.
“This is a great college tournament and a great challenge for our girls to finish the fall,” women's coach Chris Young said. “Our girls have improved a lot and I'm excited to see what they can do this weekend.”
The Cowgirls are represented by Malika Rose, Meghan Blevins, Mary Jeremiah and C.C. Sardinha, who is playing near her hometown of Bradenton, Fla.
The men will be represented by Vlad Bondarenko, Eric West and Rifat Biktyakov.
In addition to Oklahoma State, Baylor, Duke, Notre Dame, Florida, Arizona, Tennessee, Miami, Georgia and several other schools have players competing at the event.
The tournament begins with doubles play Friday morning.
