Cowboys Bow Out of USTA/ITA Central Regional

TULSA, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team wrapped up its competition at the USTA/ITA Central Region Championship Monday as senior Vlad Bondarenko was eliminated in the semifinal round of the main draw singles bracket.
The senior from Ukraine got past the quarterfinal round with a three-set win over Wichita State's Matheus Pereira, but fell to Tsvetan Mihov of Oklahoma, 6-3, 6-2, in the semifinal.
Freshman Christopher Haworth also played in today's quarterfinal, falling to Nebraska's Christopher Aumueller, 6-1, 6-1.
OSU returns to action Oct. 28 at the UNLV Invitational.
