Oklahoma State opens the Big 12 Conference portion of its schedule this Saturday as the Cowboys entertain the Kansas State Wildcats in a noon tipoff that will be televised by ESPN2. Marc Kestecher will handle the play-by-play duties while Fran Fraschilla will provide expert analysis. OSU is 9-5 all-time in Big 12 Conference openers and 11-3 in Big 12 home openers. The Cowboys are 87-25 (77.7 percent) in Big 12 home games since the league formed in 1996-97.
About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is 12-2 this season following a 79-63 win over UTSA on Monday night. The 12 wins in the first 14 games surpasses last year's start to the season and is the best since 2006-07 when the Cowboys began 16-2.

The Wildcats are led by preseason Big 12 Player of the Year Jacob Pullen, a 6-0 guard who is averaging 17.2 points and nearly four assists per game. Sophomore guard Rodney McGruder is scoring 11.5 points and grabbing a team-high 6.7 rebounds per contest. Curtis Kelly, the `Cats third-leading scorer, will miss Saturday's game. As a team, K-State is averaging nearly 11 more rebounds per game than the opponent. However, KSU is shooting just 56.1 percent from the free-throw line while making nearly 26 trips to the line each game.

Oklahoma State will play its next two games on the road as the Cowboys travel to College Station, Texas, next week to take on the Texas A&M Aggies (13-1) on Wednesday, Jan. 12 at 7 pm inside Reed Arena. OSU will then travel to Boulder, Colo., for the final league matchup with Colorado (11-4) on Sat., Jan. 15. Tipoff against the Buffaloes is set for 12:30 pm inside the Coors Events Center.
