Cowgirls Travel To Ames To Face Cyclones
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (13-6, 1-5) will look to bounce back from a tough weekend loss to in-state rival Oklahoma when it travels to Ames, Iowa to take on the No. 23 Iowa State (15-5, 3-3) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday The contest will be OSU's last road trip until Feb. 16 with a three-game homestand tipping off this weekend.

The Cowgirls lead the all-time series by a 26-21 count after taking both meetings last year. OSU won on Senior Night in Stillwater before taking the rematch in the quarterfinal round of the Big 12 Championship. The Cowgirls have won 11 of the 21 meetings in Ames. OSU's last win in Ames came on Jan. 13, 2007. The Cyclones won the last time the two met in Hilton Coliseum, a 63-55 win in 2009.
Scouting Iowa State
Iowa State has won two in a row after its weekend victory over Missouri. The Cyclones are 11-1 at home this season with their lone loss coming against Texas A&M on Jan. 22. Each of ISU's last two home games have drawn over 10,000 fans. Kelsey Bolte is among the league's top scorers at 17.5 points per game, checking in at No. 7. Bolte is also third in the league in free-throw percentage at 88.5 percent and second with her 45.2 percent success rate from the three-point line. Lauren Mansfield is currently second in the league with her 6.0 assists per game.

OSU enters the week ranked in the top 10 nationally in scoring defense (6th) and field-goal percentage defense (10th) ... the contest will be OSU's fifth against a Top 25 opponent this season ... four of OSU's six losses this year have come against ranked opponents ... the Cowgirls will be looking to snap a four-game Big 12 road losing streak ... the Cowgirls are 0-3 this year in Big 12 road games and lost their final road game of the 2009-10 campaign ... OSU's last Big 12 road win came at Texas Tech on Feb. 28, 2010.
