OSU Finishes First Day in Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oklahoma State track and field program wrapped up its first day of competition at the Razorback Invitational Friday, as four athletes competed in three events.
Senior Clarissa Andrews posted her best long jump mark of the year, leaping 5.90 meters for a 12th-place finish, OSU's best of the day. Sophomore Jessica Murphy also recorded her best long jump of the young season at 5.52 meters, enough for 20th place.
Other OSU marks included freshman Brooke Gritters' 21st-place finish in the women's shot put at 10.61 meters and freshman Taylor Buck's 14th-place finish in the men's high jump with a mark of 10.61 meters.
The men's and women's programs continue competition at the Razorback Invitational with a busy Saturday, as the Cowboys and Cowgirls are registered for competition in 15 different events.
