Stillwater, Okla. — Travis Ford's Oklahoma State men's basketball squad will play the Kansas Jayhawks on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, as part of ESPN's Big Monday package, it was announced today by the Big 12 Conference office. It will mark the 37th appearance for OSU on Big Monday since the 1991-92 season.
The Cowboys defeated top-ranked Kansas 85-77 in last year's matchup in Stillwater. It was Oklahoma State's sixth victory in the last 14 contests against KU. OSU is 3-4 all-time against the Jayhawks on Big Monday.
OSU is 19-17 all-time in Big Monday matchups, including a 7-11 mark on the road and a 12-6 record inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. This will mark the first time since the 2001-02 season that the Cowboys will not have a Big Monday game inside the historic arena.
