Nedovyesov Earns Academic Honor

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State men's tennis star Oleksandr Nedovyesov and women's golf standout Caroline Hedwall were both named to ESPN the Magazine's academic all-district team today. In addition to their success in the classroom, Nedovyesov is the reigning ITA national player of the year and Hedwall is ranked No. 1 nationally in the current Golfweek ratings.
With a 3.81 grade-point average working on his master's degree in international studies, Nedovyesov earned a spot on the first team, while Hedwall's 3.50 grade-point average in sociology was good for a position on the second team.
Hedwall and her teammates are wrapping up action at the NCAA Golf Championships today, with Nedovyesov preparing for next week's NCAA Tennis Championships.
