OSU Returns To NCAA Tournament
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (23-10) will make its third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last four years when it takes on Chattanooga (24-8) on Saturday at 7:11 p.m. (CST) inside Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe, Ariz. OSU will be the No. 4 seed in the Sacramento Regional, while the Lady Mocs enter play as the No. 13 seed.

Senior Megan Byford will be playing in her 100th career game ... Oklahoma State played 13 teams in this year's field and finished with a 10-9 mark against those squads ... Megan Byford, Ally Clardy and Andrea Riley are the only Cowgirls with NCAA Tournament experience .... Riley played in all four of OSU's games in its previous two appearances, while Byford has played in three games and Clardy one.
Success Across The Board
Oklahoma State is one of just seven schools to play in a January bowl game and the men's and women's basketball tournaments this year, joining West Virginia, Ohio State, Michigan State, Georgia Tech, Florida State and Texas.
OSU At The NCAA Tournament
The Cowgirls have now made 10 NCAA appearances in program history with three of those coming in the last four years. Two years ago, OSU advanced to the Sweet 16 for just the second time in school history. The Cowgirls are 6-9 all time in tournament games and 4-5 in the event's first round. OSU is 2-2 in tourney games under head coach Kurt Budke. OSU's No. 4 seed is the second highest in program history. The Cowgirls were a No. 3 seed in 2008.
Scouting Chattanooga
Chattanooga enters NCAA play having won its last four games and is 24-8 overall on the year. The Lady Mocs finished 16-4 in the Southern Conference en route to claiming their 11th consecutive SoCon regular season title. Shanara Hollinquest is the squad's leading scorer (17.1 ppg) and rebounder (8.9 rpg) and was named the league's player of the year for the second consecutive year. Hollinquest was joined on the all-conference team by Jenaya Wade-Fray, who is second on the squad with her 13.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. Saturday will be the first-ever meeting between OSU and Chattanooga. The Cowgirls are 1-0 all time against teams from the Southern Conference. OSU's defeated Appalachian State, 84-64, on Jan. 3, 1987 at the Holiday Classic in Orlando, Fla.
