Cowgirls Look To Halt Skid Against A&M
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (18-6, 6-4) will look to snap a three-game losing streak on Wednesday night when it hosts Texas A&M (17-6, 5-5) at 7 p.m. in Stillwater. The Cowgirls lost their second-straight home game on Saturday night, suffering a 65-57 loss to Texas Tech. The Aggies come to town following a 69-63 win over Kansas State.
Cowgirls and Aggies ... The Series
The Cowgirls hold a 21-17 advantage overall after winning earlier this season in College Station. OSU's 67-63 win on Jan. 31 snapped a four-game losing streak in the series. A&M has won five-straight games in Stillwater after last year's 60-50 victory. The Cowgirls last defeated the Aggies at home on Jan. 7, 2004. The two teams have split the 18 games all time inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Scouting The Aggies
Texas A&M snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday with its 69-63 win over Kansas State. The Aggies are 4-5 away from home this season and have lost four-straight Big 12 road games after knocking off Texas in Austin in their conference opener. The Aggies are led by preseason Big 12 Newcomer of the Year Danielle Adams, who is scoring a team-high 16.1 points per game. Adams also paces the squad with her 5.7 rebounds per contest. A&M is tops in the league in assists (16.0 apg) and turnover margin (+4.9).
