Last Year vs. Iowa State
Oklahoma State picked up a pair of victories over Iowa State last season, defeating the Cyclones 86-67 in Stillwater on Feb. 14 and 81-67 in Oklahoma City a month later in the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship.
James Anderson scored 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the first contest, connecting on 5-of-12 shots from beyond the arc. Seniors Terrel Harris and Byron Eaton combined for 37 points. Craig Brackins led the Cyclones with 27 points and nine rebounds.
In the rematch, OSU spread the wealth as five different Cowboys scored in double figures. Marshall Moses and Obi Muonelo each scored 18 points while Anderson added 14. Keiton Page chipped in eight for the Pokes. Brackins again led ISU with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Oklahoma State outscored the Cyclones 34-8 in the paint and 18-4 in points off turnovers.
Both games were close at halftime, with OSU holding a two-point lead in Stillwater and trailing by three in OKC. However, the Cowboys exploded in the second half, outscoring ISU by a combined 34 points (96-62).
