Cowboy Tennis Releases Spring Schedule

STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team released its spring 2011 dual match schedule today, with the Cowboys set to compete more than 20 times this season.
OSU opens the year with a Jan. 22 matchup against Memphis in Tulsa before heading to Athens, Ga., Jan. 29-30, for a pair of matches against Georgia and either North Carolina or Georgia Tech.
February brings a full slate a competition for the Pokes. In addition to the ITA Team Indoor Championships in Seattle, Wash., the Cowboys compete in five other non-conference duals, including a Feb. 25 contest against Oklahoma in Tulsa.
After a March 5 match at Oral Roberts, the Cowboys open their home season with a four-game home stand, including the start of Big 12 play against Texas A&M and Texas March 25 and 27, respectively.
OSU's competition in April includes its final four conference matches before wrapping up the regular season in Stillwater against Tulsa and SMU.
The 2011 Big 12 Championship, hosted by Baylor in Waco, Texas, April 29-May 1, finishes the Cowboys' scheduled competition, with the first round of the NCAA Tournament scheduled to begin two weeks later.
