Game Information
Oklahoma State returns home for one game and will host the Missouri State Bears on Saturday, Dec. 11, at 7 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. It will be just OSU's second home game of three in the month of December. The game will be televised by the Cowboy Sports Network, with Chad McKee handling the play-by-play duties and Bryndon Manzer providing expert analysis. Oklahoma State is 5-0 all-time against Missouri State, having last played the Bears in the South Padre Island Invitational on Nov. 25, 2006. OSU won that game 73-70 in overtime.
About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is 8-1 this season and coming off a 71-54 win over Tulsa Wednesday night in the BOK Center. It was the seventh time in the last eight contests that the Cowboys' have allowed fewer than 59 points in a game.
The Pokes have a +10.3 scoring margin this season and are outrebounding their opponents by an average of nearly nine boards per game. Excluding the two overtime periods against La Salle, OSU is giving up an average of just 58.4 points this season during regulation. Four different players have blocked at least four shots in nine games this season — Moses (8), Matt Pilgrim (7), Darrell Williams (6) and Jarred Shaw (4) — and nine players have at least five steals.

Missouri State is 6-2 this season with home wins over Oral Roberts, Pepperdine, Pacific, UALR and Central Arkansas (101-61). The Bears defeated Arkansas State in Knoxville, Tenn., but lost consecutive road games at Tennessee and Tulsa (62-50). MSU is led by a trio of players averaging in double figures. Junior forward Kyle Weems is averaging team highs in both points (14.8) and rebounds (7.1). Senior center Will Creekmore, a Tulsa native from Edison High, is chipping in 12.4 points per contest while senior guard Jermaine Mallett is scoring 10.5 ppg. Defensively, the Bears are allowing just 58.8 points per game while giving up 30.4 rebounds per contest.

The Cowboys will take a week off for finals before preparing to take on the Alabama Crimson Tide (4-4) on Saturday, Dec. 18, in the Lane All-College Classic. Tipoff inside the Oklahoma City Arena is set for 5:30 pm and the game will be televised by ESPN2. OSU will host Stanford as part of the Big 12/Pac-10 Hardwood Series on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 8 pm inside Gallagher-Iba Arena.
