OSU Opens With Exhibition Against ECU
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will get the 2010-11 campaign underway on Tuesday night when it plays host to East Central (Okla.) University at 7 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The contest will be OSU's lone exhibition before opening the regular season on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Texas Southern.
Exhibitions Under Budke
The Cowgirls have won all nine of their exhibition contests under head coach Kurt Budke. This week's matchup will mark the fourth time East Central has come to Stillwater during the past six years. ECU's last visit to Gallagher-Iba Arena came on Nov. 4, 2008 and resulted in a 105-40 win by the Cowgirls. OSU also hosted the Tigers in 2006 and 2007.
Scouting East Central
Tuesday's contest will be East Central's second and final exhibition contest of the 2010-11 campaign. The Tigers opened their season with a 77-57 loss at UT Arlington on Nov. 6. In that contest, Casi Rawls scored a team-high 15 points and was followed by Jourdan Clark's 14 points. Last year, the Tigers finished 12-15 overall. Rawls was the squad's leading scorer at 15.1 points per contest.
