Bucknell competes against South Dakota State and Nebraska in Lincoln the day before coming to Stillwater to battle the Cowboys. Ticket Information Tickets for the Bucknell dual are $10. Admission is $6 for groups of 20 or more, but to be eligible for that rate, the tickets need to be reserved ahead of time. Series Capsule Overall 0-0-0 In Stillwater 0-0-0 In Lewisburg 0-0-0 At Neutral 0-0-0 John Smith vs. Bucknell 0-0-0 Dan Wirnsberger vs. Oklahoma State 0-0-0 Catching Up With The Cowboys While Oklahoma State is taking the mat for the first time in dual competition, November has already proven to be an eventful month for the Cowboys. As expected, OSU dominated the season-opening Oklahoma City Open by crowning eight champions at the meet. It was a similar scene at the Kaufman-Brand Open, where the Pokes won six weight class crowns. What was not expected was the loss of All-American 285-pounder Alan Gelogaev, who sustained an injury at the Oklahoma City Open and will be out for a considerable amount of time. Another early-season casualty was senior leader Neil Erisman, who has held down the starting spot at 157 pounds for each of the last two seasons. Erisman is expected to return before Gelogaev, but will also be out of action for some time. Cowboys Roll At All-Star Classic Oklahoma State wrestlers Jordan Oliver and Clayton Foster were both comfortable winners at the NWCA All-Star Classic on Nov. 21, with Oliver claiming an 8-7 win over No. 1 Andrew Hochstrasser of Boise State and Foster rolling to a 7-3 win over No. 6 Sonny Yohn of Minnesota. Oliver's match was not as close as the score would indicate, as the Cowboy sophomore took Hochstrasser down three times and scored a reversal to lead, 8-4 after two periods. Hochstrasser wiggled free for an escape to start the third period and scored a takedown with five seconds left in the bout to make the margin closer. Five of Hochstrasser's seven points came on escapes. Foster bagged a pair of single-leg takedowns and added two escapes and riding time in his win over Yohn. He was in complete control of the match before Yohn was able to score a takedown in the third period, but the bout was already well in hand for Foster at that point. Returning All-Americans OSU has two of the nation's best wrestlers in 133-pounder Jordan Oliver and 197-pounder Clayton Foster, both of whom were All-Americans last year. Oliver placed fourth at the 2010 NCAA Championships to cap a redshirt freshman season that saw him compile a 32-4 overall record and a 8-4 mark against ranked opponents. Not only did he win the 2010 Big 12 title at 133 pounds, but he was also recognized as the Outstanding Wrestler of the Big 12 Championships. Foster enters his fourth year as a starter in the Oklahoma State lineup. He competed at 197 pounds his first two years before moving to 184 pounds last season and now is back at 197 pounds. Foster was sixth at last year's NCAA Championships and his win over eventual NCAA champion Max Askren of Missouri at the Big 12 Championships was a vital key to the Cowboys winning the 2010 conference crown. Get To Know The New Guys Oklahoma State is breaking in new starters at 125 pounds, 165 pounds, 184 pounds and at heavyweight. Redshirt freshman Jon Morrison steps in at 125 pounds, where has enjoyed success on the open tournament circuit since arriving on campus last year. Morrison was 9-1 last year and is off to an 8-0 start this year. His lone defeat came last year at the hands of Northwestern All-American Brandon Precin, who is ranked No. 2 in the nation at 125 this week. Morrison crushed a ranked opponent earlier this season when he handed No. 10 Ben Kjar of Utah Valley a 9-0 major decision beating in the finals of the Kaufman-Brand Open. At 165 pounds, Dallas Bailey is also off to a fast start. The redshirt freshman from Catoosa, Okla., is 9-0 with five of those wins coming by fall. He pinned No. 12 Cody Yohn of Minnesota at the 4:56 mark of their title bout at the Kaufman-Brand Open. There is a buzz surrounding redshirt freshman 184-pounder Chris Perry as he makes his varsity debut for the Cowboys this year. Perry won the bronze medal at the 2010 FILA Junior Freestyle World Championships this summer and is a two-time USA Wrestling Junior Freestyle National Champion. He was 15-1 competing in open tournaments as a redshirt last season, with his only loss coming at the hands of All-America teammate Clayton Foster. Perry is off to a 7-1 start to this season. Four of his seven wins have come with bonus points attached. Gelogaev was expected to be a stalwart of the Oklahoma State lineup at 285 pounds this season, but injury has forced sophomore Tyson Yoder into that spot. Yoder was 6-4 competing exclusively at open tournaments as a redshirt freshman last year and is 5-3 in open tournaments this year. Redshirt freshman Blake Rosholt may also see some action at heavyweight for the Cowboys as they look to fill the void created by Gelogaev's injury. Middle Weights Taking Shape...For Now Things are beginning to take shape at the middle weights for Oklahoma State, as Jamal Parks has emerged as a strong performer at 149 pounds and Albert White has bumped up to 157 pounds. Of course, when Neil Erisman returns from injury, that could have an effect on the lineup. Parks and White entered the season on the same plane and were both given a shot at the starting spot at 149. Parks beat White at OSU's Orange and Black Ranking Matches, then again at the Oklahoma City Open. White then made the move to 157 pounds and stormed through the bracket at the Kaufman-Brand Open to win the weight class at that event. Both Parks and White are capable of wrestling at an All-America level, and Erisman's leadership is a valuable asset in the Cowboy Wrestling Room. Asics All-Americans Live Here Oklahoma State has a staggering eight former Asics High School First-Team All-Americans competing in its wrestling room this season. Chris Perry is the son of Smith's sister, Cathy, and Zach White and Matt White are the sons of Smith's sister, Mary Ann. Up Next Oklahoma State travels to Minnesota to take on the third-ranked Golden Gophers at 2 p.m. on Dec. 5.
