About Oklahoma State
Oklahoma State is 3-0 this season following Sunday's 20-point win over Nicholls. The Cowboys eliminated any thoughts of an upset by the Colonels by taking a 24-8 lead just 15 minutes into the game.
Marshall Moses is leading the squad with his 16.7 points per game. Keiton Page is also averaging double figures at 13 points per contest. Darrell Williams leads the team with 11.7 rebounds per game. But it's perhaps OSU's defense that has been the most solid early on. The Cowboys are allowing just 62.3 points per game this season and have held their last two opponents under 60. OSU also has a +11.0 rebounding margin and has blocked 15 shots in the first three games.
With the win over Nicholls, Oklahoma State is just the 34th team in NCAA history to reach 1,500 victories. OSU is 1,500-1,041 all-time on the hardwood, good for a 59.0 winning percentage.
About DePaul
DePaul is 1-1 this season with a 33-point victory over Chicago State and a five-point loss to Western Carolina, both at home. Five different Blue Demons are averaging double figures, led by freshman guard Brandon Young's 13.5 points per game. He also has 11 assists in two games. Senior guard Mike Stovall and sophomore forward Tony Freeland are both averaging 13 points per contest. As a team, DePaul is shooting nearly 51 percent from the floor, but just 20 percent (7 of 35) from beyond the arc. The Blue Demons are also being outrebounded by nearly 10 boards per contest.
Up Next
Oklahoma State will return home on Monday before hosting its third Southland Conference member of the early season on Wednesday, Dec. 1, when the Central Arkansas Bears visit Stillwater. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 pm.
