OSU To Host Grambling State
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will continue its season-opening four-game homestand on Thursday at 7 p.m. when Grambling State (0-3) come to town. The Tigers are coming off an 81-59 loss at Memphis on Monday night, while the Cowgirls have not played since their 68-30 win over Texas Southern on Saturday in their season opener. The contest will start a stretch of three games in five days for the Cowgirls.
OSU-Grambling State ... The Series
OSU and GSU have met five times previously with the Cowgirls prevailing three times. This will be the Tigers' second trip to Stillwater with the Cowgirls claiming a 92-67 win on Nov. 29, 1994. The last meeting came on Dec. 20, 1995, a 67-56 win by OSU at the Bertha Teague Classic in Norman.
Scouting Grambling State
The Tigers opened the season with a pair of losses at the Wildcat Classic in Manhattan, Kan. After a 67-44 loss to Kansas State on Nov. 12, GSU lost an 82-61 contest against Marist. The Tigers' most recent contest resulted in an 81-59 loss at Memphis on Monday. Kristen Harper has been the squad's leading scorer in the early going at 9.3 points per game, while Jasher Blocker paces the Tigers with her 4.0 rebounds per contest. Thursday's contest will be the fourth of nine consecutive away from home for the Tigers.

The Cowgirls have won 43-straight non-conference games at home... OSU's last non-conference home loss came in double overtime against Tulsa on Dec. 3, 2005 ... OSU went 9-0 at home last season in non-league games, marking its fourth-straight unbeaten campaign at home out of conference.
