Cowgirl Golf Adds Courtney Ferguson

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team has signed Courtney Ferguson to a National Letter of Intent it was announced today by Cowgirl head coach Annie Young.
A native of Houston, Texas, Ferguson will join the program for the 2011-12 season.
"We are excited to have Courtney as a part of our team. She's a great girl on and off the golf course and she will be a big part of our team in the years to come," Young said.
This past year, Ferguson posted a pair of wins on the AJGA circuit, claiming titles at the Elbit Systems of America Junior Championship, which included a first-round 65, and the AJGA Houston Junior. She also tied for 10th place at the Ping Phoenix Junior.
Ferguson, who is a product of Clear Lake High School, had seven top fives last year on the Texas Junior Golf Tour, including a win at the Q School Challenge at Blackhorse. Additionally, she was named a first-team All-Greater Houston selection by the Houston Chronicle.
