Cowgirls To Visit Children's Hospital

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will pay a visit to The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis in Tulsa this Friday in conjunction with OSU's Coaches vs. Cancer Campaign, which is an American Cancer Society fundraising event.
In addition to the entire Cowgirl squad, Pistol Pete will be in attendance. The visitors will distribute orange teddy bears as well as posters and schedule cards for the upcoming season.
Currently, the OSU Coaches vs. Cancer campaign ranks first in the Big 12, first in the High Plains division and in the top 10 nationally in dollars raised. Both the OSU CvC campaign and former coach Eddie Sutton have been nationally recognized with awards from the American Cancer Society.
In the past five years, OSU's Coaches vs. Cancer campaign has raised over $800,000 for the fight against cancer.
The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of children in eastern Oklahoma and surrounding states.
Services range from general inpatient care, pediatric hematology/oncology and pediatric cardiothoracic surgery to neonatal and pediatric intensive care. The Children's Hospital at Saint Francis is the eastern Oklahoma affiliate for Children's Miracle Network, which helps area children receive the specialized care they need.
