Cowgirl Golf Finishes 14th At Landfall Tradition

WILMINGTON, N.C. - Oklahoma State's women's golf team closed out its fall schedule with a 14th-place showing at The Landfall Tradition on Sunday at the Country Club of Landfall.
The Cowgirls posted a 21-over 309 during their third round to finish at 924 at the par-72, 6,244-yard layout. OSU's 60-over tally was four shots behind Northwestern for 13th. UCLA posted a 300 team score during its final round to take home the team trophy. The Bruins finished at 880 and five shots clear of North Carolina.
Virginia's Brittany Altomare and UCLA's Tiffany Lua shared medalist honors after finishing at 214.
OSU sophomore Victoria Park wrapped up play with a 75 for a top-20 showing. The Irvine, Calif., native's 224 total tied her for 17th place.
Freshman Josephine Janson posted the squad's low round of the day after signing for a 71. The Halmstad, Sweden native posted five birdies on the day en route to her 1-under score. Janson finished in a tie for 26th place at 226.
Junior Jocelyn Alford finished with an 82 for a 231 total to tie for 46th place. Freshman Jade Staggs tied for 77th place at 243 after carding an 81, while sophomore Hillary Wood's 83 tied her for 86th place at 251.
