OSU Takes 11-Game Win Streak To Texas
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (15-2, 3-0) will puts its 11-game winning streak on the line Wednesday at 7 p.m. when it travels to Austin, Texas to face the Texas Longhorns (12-5, 1-2). The No. 12 Cowgirls enter play with their highest-ever national ranking. The 20th-ranked Longhorns will be OSU's fifth Top 25 opponent. OSU is coming off a 66-56 win against Kansas State over the weekend, while UT won its first conference game of the year with a 95-90 win at Texas Tech on Saturday.
Cowgirls and Longhorns ... The Series
Texas has won 22 of the 30 meetings between the two squads. OSU is 3-11 all-time in Austin with two of those wins coming in the last three trips to the Erwin Center. OSU won, 64-52, in 2007 and came away with a 58-52 win on Feb. 18 of last year.
Scouting The Longhorns
The Longhorns snapped a two-game losing streak on Saturday with a 95-90 win in double overtime at Texas Tech. Texas is 7-1 at home this season with its lone loss coming in its conference opener against Texas A&M on Jan. 9. Brittainey Raven leads the squad at 15.5 points per game, while Kathleen Nash joins her in double figures at 13.8 and is the squad's leading rebounder at 7.5 boards per game. Nash currently ranks second in the Big 12 in 3-point field goal percentage at 51 percent, while Ashley Gayle is second in blocks at 3.4 per game.

Andrea Riley enters play with 2,361 points and is six points shy of catching Bryant Reeves for the No. 2 spot on the OSU basketball all-time scoring chart and 18 points shy of matching Byron Houston for the top spot ... Riley enters the contest No. 2 nationally in consecutive double-figure scoring games ... Ohio State's Jantel Lavender leads the nation at 86 consecutive games, while Riley has scored at least 10 points in 75-straight games ... OSU's No. 12 AP ranking is its highest ever, the previous best was No. 13 two years ago.
