Oleksandr Nedovyesov Appears In Sports Illustrated

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's Oleksandr Nedovyesov was recently featured in Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd", appearing in the June 22 issue of the magazine.
The OSU standout finished his junior campaign as the top-ranked player in the country and was named the ITA National Player of the Year. Nedovyesov compiled a 35-7 singles mark overall, including a 20-4 record during the spring season.
In addition, the Alushta, Ukraine native helped the Cowboys achieve a top 25 national ranking and advance to the NCAA tournament. Nedovyesov qualified for the event's singles competition, advancing to the round of 16, and doubles tournament as well.
The two-time All-American teamed with Nathan Byrnes to finish the year as the 14th-ranked doubles team in the country.
Nedovyesov, who has been named the Big 12 Player of the Year twice, was also recognized for his work in the classroom, earning first-team academic all-district honors.
