Nedovyesov, Byrnes Ready For NCAA Play

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Oklahoma State's Oleksandr Nedovyesov and Nathan Byrnes will be back in action this week when they begin play at the NCAA Tennis Championship in College Station, Texas.
Nedovyesov will compete in both the singles and doubles draws at Texas A&M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. The Alushta, Ukraine native will be the No. 2 seed in the 64-player singles bracket. Nedovyesov compiled an 18-3 record this spring for the Cowboys and is currently ranked second nationally behind Tulsa's Arnau Brugues, who will serve as the event's top seed.
The Cowboy junior will open play at 11:30 a.m. (CST) on Wednesday and will take on Auburn's Alexey Tsyrenov.
Nedovyeov will team with Byrnes in doubles action as well. The duo is currently ranked ninth in the country after posting a 14-3 record during the spring campaign. Nedovyesov and Byrnes will take on Florida State's Jean-Yves Aubone and Vahid Mirzadeh on Thursday in the first round.
