Travis Ford - Head Basketball Coach
Travis Ford, who led turnarounds at three different schools, was named Oklahoma State university's new head basketball coach on April 16, 2008. Coach Ford and his outstanding staff will oversee and organize all sessions of camp.
Camp Goals
The primary purposes are to teach young men to develop their skill and improve their abilities in the finer points of basketball, improve as people, and to have fun. The camp staff incorporates development of sportsmanship, leadership, and citizenship.
Eligibility
Under Big 12 and NCAA rules, any young men ages 6 through 18, including graduated seniors, are eligible to participate.
What To Bring
Individual campers should bring a one-week supply of t-shirts, gym shorts, athletic socks, underwear, and towels. Campers should also bring one set of bed linens, one pillow, and toilet articles. A camp store will be available on a limited schedule during Individual Camp for purchases of snacks and sportswear.
Application, Insurance, & Health History
When sending in your application, you must include the health history/release of liability form. Be sure to complete the form including the insurance information. All campers will be partially covered by a group insurance policy by the camp at no additional cost. The camer is responsible for primary insurance coverage. The camp insurance policy will assume secondary coverage.
Cost Of Camp
The cost for the 2009 Travis Ford Basketball School individual camp is $400 for those staying overnight and $300 for commuters. The $400 fee includes instruction, room and board, plus a t-shirt. The $300 fee includes instruction, meals and t-shirt. A deposit of $150 or full payment is due with each application to hold a camper's spot. NOTE: Deadline for all applications, payments, and health forms is May 29 for individual camp. Mini camp is $150 and should be paid in full. Each session is limited to the first 125 campers.

Arrival And Departure
Mini Campers report directly to Gallagher-Iba Arena to register between 7:30-8:15 AM on Monday, June 1, 2009, for morning session (Mini Camp I) and between 1:00-1:45 PM for the afternoon session (Mini Camp II).
Campers should arrive for the June 7-10th Individual Camp on Sunday, June 7, to register between 2:00-4:45 PM in the east lobby of Gallagher- Iba Arena. No Sunday evening meal or Wednesday lunch will be served. On arrival, parents are welcome to stay for a 6:00 PM orientation in Gallagher-Iba Arena. An awards ceremony will be held at 12:00 PM Wednesday, June 10. Everyone is welcome. Check out and departure time will immediately follow the ceremony. Early checkout will not be allowed on Tuesday.
Transportation can be provided from Tulsa or Oklahoma City airports at a cost of $40 one-way or $75 round trip. Advance notice is required.
Elite Camp
Oklahoma State will host an Elite Camp, June 5-6, for players in grades 9-12. The camp will run from noon on June 5 until 5 p.m. on June 6. The cost will be $75 per camper, and that includes housing, food, a T-shirt and shorts, and a reversible jersey. Contact Tommy Wade at (405) 744-4647 or tommy.wade@okstate.edu for more information.
Team Camp
For three days, OSU will provide a great chance for coaches to work with their teams, and highly competitive play for their players. Games will be played in Gallagher-Iba Arena and the newly renovated Colvin Center, making campers a part of Cowboy basketball's rich history and allowing them to play in what CBS Sportsline and ESPNU have both ranked as the #1 college basketball arena in the country. The camp will also include some new drills this year, feature unique game situations.

Facilities
All campers coming for the individual and Team Camp will be housed in dormitories on campus. The dorms are air conditioned and meals are provided in the dormitory. Camp sessions and games will be held in Gallagher-Iba Arena and OSU's Colvin Center. Both Mini Camps and the Specialty Mini Camp will be held in Gallagher-Iba Arena.
The Staff
Oklahoma State Head Basketball Coach Travis Ford and his staff will oversee and direct the camp. Coach Ford brings 12 years of head coaching experience to the camp. As a player, Ford was an all-SEC first-team point guard, MVP of the NCAA Tournament's 1993 Southeast Regional and a three-time SEC all-academic pick. In addition to Coach Ford and his staff, other college and high school coaches, plus pro and college players (including curent and former Cowboys), will work as supervisors and instructors.
