Jarred Shaw Inks LOI with Cowboy Basketball

Oklahoma State head coach Travis Ford announced the signing of Jarred Shaw to a National Letter of Intent today. Shaw is the seventh high school senior to ink an LOI with the Cowboys for the 2009-10 season.
A 6-10 center at Carter High School in Dallas, Texas, Shaw was named the District 11-4A Defensive Player of the Year this past season. He scored a season-high 41 points at North Dallas on Jan. 3. Shaw led the Cowboys to a 31-4 record and a No. 1 ranking in Class 4A entering the state tournament. Carter fell to Highland Park 51-46 in the Region II area finals.
Shaw joins Reger Dowell, Roger Franklin, Fred Gulley, Karron Johnson, Ray Penn and Torin Walker in Oklahoma State's 2009 recruiting class.
