Cowgirl Basketball Uniform Auction Underway

STILLWATER, Okla.ÂBidding is underway for uniforms worn by the Oklahoma State women's basketball team during its contest against Texas Tech on Feb. 21. The pink uniforms were worn by the Cowgirls as part of the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's annual Pink Zone initiative.
OSU was one of more than 1,500 schools and organizations to participate in the initiative, which was created in 2007 by the WBCA to assist in raising breast cancer awareness on the court, across campuses and in communities.
The Feb. 21 contest marked the first time the Cowgirls have donned the pink uniforms. The squad's jerseys and shorts are available online at www.okstate.com.
The auction will close on Friday, March 6 at noon. Proceeds will benefit the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.
