Student Ticket Promotion Continues Through K-State Game
March 01, 2009 | Cowboy Basketball
Oklahoma State University students have another opportunity to participate in the special men's basketball ticket promotion as the Cowboys prepare to host Kansas State Tuesday night.
Approximately 2,000 students purchased the $10 ticket, good for the Texas and Kansas State games, in advance of the Cowboy's 68-59 win over the Longhorns Saturday evening. The OSU Department of Athletics will continue to offer the $10 student ticket through the Kansas State game. It is the final home game of the season for Oklahoma State.
The special offer is courtesy of T. Boone Pickens, who is underwriting the cost of the promotion.
The arena's floor seating will continue to be reserved for student season ticket holders.
Tickets can be purchased at the Gallagher-Iba Arena ticket office, located in the east lobby. The ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. through halftime of the K-State game on Tuesday.
Plans are also being finalized to once again have tickets available on campus at the Chi-Omega Clock.
Oklahoma State has climbed into a fourth-place tie in the Big 12 standings. OSU is 19-9 overall and has won five in a row.
The Kansas State game is set for 6:30 p.m. in Gallagher-Iba Arena with ESPN2 on hand to televise the contest nationally. The Wildcats and Cowboys are currently tied with Texas at 8-6 in Big 12 play.
