Cowgirls Renew Bedlam Series On Sunday
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (14-6 overall, 3-4 Big 12) will return to action on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. when it hosts No. 2 Oklahoma (19-2, 7-0) inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls are coming off a 91-74 loss on Thursday to Texas. Sunday's edition of the Bedlam Series will be televised by Fox Sports Net with Brent Stover (play-by-play) and Brenda VanLengen (color) serving as the talent.
OSU vs. Oklahoma ... The Series
Oklahoma owns a 46-35 lead in the all-time series after the two teams split last season. OSU snapped a 17-game losing streak against their in-state rival last season with an 82-63 win in front of a capacity crowd inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. OU returned the favor with an 81-71 win in Norman. Overall, the Sooners hold an 18-17 edge in Stillwater.
Scouting Oklahoma
The Sooners enter play as the lone unbeaten in the league at 7-0 and have won their last 15 games overall after knocking off Tennessee, 80-70, last Monday in Oklahoma City to improve to 19-2. OU comes to town carrying a No. 2 national ranking and is the highest ranked opponent OSU has faced since taking on No. 2 Texas Tech on Jan. 10, 2004. OU possesses a balanced offensive attack that features five players in double figures in the scoring column. The Sooners are paced by All-American Courtney Paris' 15.4 points and 13.5 rebounds per game.
