Cowgirls To Battle No. 7 Baylor Wednesday Night

Cowgirls Close Homestand Against Baylor
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (14-7 overall, 3-5 Big 12) will look to halt a two-game losing streak on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. when it hosts No. 7 Baylor (19-3, 7-2) inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The Cowgirls are coming off consecutive home losses against Texas and Oklahoma, while the Lady Bears have won two straight.
OSU vs. Baylor ... The Series
The two teams have squared off 29 times with Baylor winning 20 of those meetings, including their 75-57 win in Waco on Jan. 17. For just the second time, the Cowgirls swept the season series last year, winning 77-67 in Stillwater before closing out the regular season with a 72-68 win in the Ferrell Center. OSU is 7-5 all time in against the Lady Bears in Stillwater.
Scouting Baylor
After consecutive home losses to Oklahoma and Texas, Baylor bounced back with wins at Nebraska and at home against Kansas State last week. The Lady Bears are 6-0 overall in road games this season, including a 4-0 mark in conference play. The Lady Bears enter play as the league's best rebounding team with a +11.7 rebounding margin. Danielle Wilson ranks among the league leaders in several categories. She is currently seventh with her 14.9 points per game, third with 9.3 boards per game and second in blocked shots with 3.1 per outing.
