OSU To Square Off With Western Illinois
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team (9-2) will continue its seven-game homestand on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m. against Western Illinois (4-8). The teams were originally scheduled to meet on Monday night, but had to adjust their schedule due to travel complications. OSU is coming off a 90-65 win over Oral Roberts on Dec. 22, while the Leathernecks lost at Ohio State, 99-38, in their last outing.
Cowgirls and Western Illinois ... The Series
The Cowgirls and Leathernecks have crossed paths on two previous occasions with OSU winning both outings. The first meeting took place in 1984 at the UMKC Tournament in Kansas City and resulted in a 71-54 Cowgirl win. OSU hosted Western Illinois on Dec. 22, 1997 and came away with an 88-54 win.

Western Illinois will be looking to snap a two-game losing skid after suffering losses to Loyola and at Ohio State. The Leathernecks are in their 12th season under head coach Leslie Crane, who has compiled a 177-152 record during her time at the Macomb, Ill. school. Erica Lewis is the lone player scoring in double figures at 10.7 points per outing. Ashley Lord is pulling a team-best 6.9 boards per game. WIU is 1-4 away from home this season with its lone road win coming at Northern Illinois on Nov. 17.
