STILLWATER, Okla. – The Oklahoma State men's tennis team travels to Tulsa, Okla., this week to compete at the Wilson/ITA Central Region Championships, hosted by the University of Tulsa at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
Oleksandr Nedovyesov, who enters the main draw singles bracket as the No. 1 seed, returns to action for the first time since the D'Novo/ITA All-American Tennis Championships, where he and teammate Aleksey Bessonov made a run to the main draw doubles championship match. That doubles team also enters the main draw as the No. 1 seed this week.
Bessonov, Anton Bobytskyi, Eric West and Trevor Horstmann are coming off an impressive showing at the Razorback Invitational, where the Cowboys posted a combined record of 23-1. In addition to Nedovyesov, Bessonov and Bobytskyi will also enter the tournament seeded in the top 10.
The Wilson/ITA Central Regionals are scheduled to begin Thursday morning with the first and second round Qualifying singles and conclude Monday, Oct. 26 with the championship matches.
