Belova; Shatkovskaya Continue Success at Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Oklahoma State women's tennis team began its competition at the Razorback Classic tournament Friday, with Sasha Belova and Nataliya Shatkovskaya providing the highlight of the day with their fourth straight doubles win.
The Cowgirl duo, which won their last doubles tournament at Wichita State, easily won their match against Kansas State's Karla Bonacic and Ana Gomez-Aleman, 8-3.
In singles play, Oklahoma State's Belova, Shatkovskaya, Iryna Khatsko, Alexandra Cristello and Alisa Buslaieva all added a win to their records. Belova's and Khatsko's wins came in the red singles draw round of 16, as they notched victories over Tulsa's JoAnne Karaitiana and Arkansas' Kelsey Sundaram, respectively.
The Cowgirls resume play Saturday as play continues at the 2009 Razorback Classic.
