Cowgirls Host Texas A&M On Saturday
Oklahoma State's women's basketball team will face its second consecutive top-10 opponent when it hosts Texas A&M on Saturday at 6 p.m. inside Gallagher-Iba Arena. The No. 24 Cowgirls (12-4, 1-2) are coming off a loss last Saturday at Baylor, while the Aggies (14-3, 2-2) are also coming off a loss against the Lady Bears during the midweek. The contest will be televised by Cowboy Sports Properties (KOCB, Ch. 34, in OKC and KMYT, Ch. 41, in Tulsa).

OSU leads the overall series by a 20-15 count, but the Aggies have claimed nine of the last 10 meetings. OSU is 9-8 at home against the Aggies, but has lost the last four in Stillwater.

Texas A&M comes to town having lost two consecutive games after its 64-61 loss to Baylor on Wednesday. Texas A&M won 12 straight to open year, but has lost three of its last five. The Aggies are currently 5-2 on the road this season. A&M is led by preseason All-Big 12 pick Takia Starks, who is scoring a team-best 15.4 points per game. Oklahoma City native Danielle Gant is averaging 14.2 points per game and is averaging a team-high 7.0 rebounds per outing. The two teams last met in the Big 12 Championship title game last March.
