Biggs previously oversaw all marketing efforts of the Oklahoma State athletic department since the beginning of the 2002-03 academic year. He was responsible for season ticket campaigns, ticket office operations, merchandising, internet operations, contracts/vendor relationships, and all game-day staging.
During his tenure, OSU set an all-time record for football season ticket sales in 2004, as well as records for total ticket revenues, merchandise revenues, multimedia rights revenues and soft-drink revenues.
Prior to his arrival at Oklahoma State, Biggs served as associate director of athletics/external affairs at Emporia State for two years. He also served as director of development for the Tulsa Sports Commission from May 1999 to Sept. 2000.
Biggs served as an assistant basketball coach and an assistant athletic director at Ottawa University from 1996-99. He earned his bachelor's degree in history from Ottawa in 1997. He participated in basketball and golf while attending Ottawa. He received his master's degree in sports administration from Kansas in 1998.
Born May 3, 1975, Joey and his wife, Michelle, were married on July 20, 2002.
