Adams Leaves Cowboy Basketball Program
June 30, 2008 | Cowboy Basketball
Martavius Adams, a freshman on the Oklahoma State men's basketball team last season, has been granted a release to transfer, it was announced today by head coach Travis Ford.
“Martavius and I sat down last week and agreed that it would be mutually beneficial for both parties if we simply went our separate ways,” said Ford. “We appreciate his efforts at Oklahoma State and wish him nothing but the best of luck. Ultimately, we want him to be happy.”
Adams played in 30 games last season for the Cowboys, starting three. He averaged 3.1 points and 2.1 rebounds per game.
