Andrea Riley Named To Sports Illustrated All-America Team

STILLWATER, Okla.Â—Oklahoma State sophomore Andrea Riley was one of 10 players named to Sports Illustrated's Women's Basketball All-America Team in the magazine's issue that hit newsstands this week.

One of the most prolific scorers in the country, Riley currently leads the Big 12 and is sixth nationally in scoring at 22.8 points per game. The Dallas, Texas native has scored in double figures in 28 of the squad's 29 games this season and has topped the 20-point mark on 17 occasions, including a career-high 45 points against Oklahoma on Jan. 12.

Against Texas Tech on March 1, Riley eclipsed the 1,000-point mark for her career, making her just the second Cowgirl to achieve the feat as a sophomore.

Riley also leads the league in steals at 2.8 per game and is also among the league's leaders in assists (5^th) at 4.2 per game, free throw percentage (6^th) at 73.6 percent and 3-point field goal percentage (10^th) at 31 percent.

A second-team selection, Riley was the lone sophomore among the 10 players. She was joined by Maryland's Marisa Coleman and Crystal Langhorne as well as Connecticut's Maya Moore and California's Ashley Walker on the second team.

Members of the first team included LSU's Sylvia Fowles, Tennessee's Candace Parker, Oklahoma's Courtney Paris, Maryland's Kristi Toliver and Stanford's Candice Wiggins.
